My addiction of the week: Go Out Swinging by MOONS



Gimme Radio is one of the best things in the world in the last few years, specially right now with this coronashite going around and messing with our lives. I was lucky I saw the link in a random metal website a couple of years ago and I'm hooked to it since then. 24 hours of the music I love, and the real deal, the real shit. This is not just a radio where you can listen to the 'commercial' or 'popular' metal songs, this is an amazing community where you can listen from the last huge release by Metallica till some of the more raw, brutal and weird extreme metal ever recorded... and everything in the middle, which is pretty much all metal in the fecking world. Thanks to this platform I got to listen to so many bands that probably I would never had manage to listen otherwise, and my addiction of the week is one of this bands: Moons.


Moons, hailing from Pennsylvania, catched my attention since the first riff I heard. After listening to their song AA/Join The Cult in the show Records Of Ruin by Dean Rispler, I had to go inmediately to bandcamp and search for them, and man, this whole record is FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC! Authentic raw Sludge/doom with some death, some gore... A lot of heaviness! If you dig bands like Bongizlla, Orange Goblin, High On Fire, etc, you are going to LOVE this. Just one thing else to add: I really hope they release this record Go Out Swinging in vinyl soon, because I want it in my collection! Listen to Moons and let their sound to trap you, and if you get hammered listening to it, you'll have even more fun! Shut Yer Geggie Spotify Playlist I

One of the things I wanted when I started this blog was to publish playlists every then an now.
