Awesome Live Videos: Gojira - Live Paris, France 09/06/2016

Gojira is one of my favorite bands. I was lucky that a friend recorded me Terra Incognita in the b side of a tape not long after it was released and I'd been following to the guys from Bayonna (French Basque Country), getting really excited with each release and loving each one of their records. My favorites are, I guess as most of the people, From Mars To Sirius and L'Enfant Sauvage, but I own their whole discography in vinyl and I love each one of them, included the last one Magma. Where some people find songs and sound too commercial for Gojira, I think that it's the perfect record for the moment of their careers in 2016. Obviously, I am really looking forward to get new music from them and there is a big expectations in this 2020 to get the next gojira work. And, you never know, but I'm pretty confident they won't dissapoint anyone.

While they get to it, we always can enjoy their gigs. In my opinion, is the best live band I'd ever seen. I'd seen them a few times, every time one word to describe it: perfection. In my life I'd seen big concerts/big events , I'd gone to many big festivals, seen many big, medium and unknown metal bands... I'd seen a lot of amazing extreme and underground metal and hardcore gigs... And I have to tell you, NOBODY sounds live like Gojira. Doesn't matter if is a smaller venue or headlining a massive festival, when this guys are on stage they are a perfect machine that is going to demolish everything on their way. And the video below is my favorite performance by them I'd seen on the internet. It's in a venue in Paris, not too big, recorded in black & white for Arte TV when they were about to release Magma...  More than 1 hour of awesomeness. Pure joy for your senses. I believe is one of those videos that every metalhead should watch. GO GO GOJIRA!
