Sludge/Black Metal from Paris: Deliverance - Holocaust 26:1-46

This French band is fucking awesome and this record, Holocaust 26: 1-46 by Deliverance has me totally trapped into its own sonic world. I don't know if that even makes sense, English is not my first language and part of the point of this blog is to test myself writting it, so if anyone reads this please let me know if I write like a moron. ANYWAY, I'd been for a few days now absolutely hooked to this masterpiece, I don't know exactly what it is but it has some kind of hypnotic effect on me and sitting in the dark and stay quiet listening to it its becoming a pleasure.
I won't waste the time trying to review it, there are plenty of great reviews around the internet (f.e. Angry Metal Guy) but I'll tell you that this record it's something special, merging slow and heavy sludge with raw black metal sound, always with an intense doomy vibe and post punk feeling in the way the songs are structured and a lot of experimental stuff in general. Definitely worth your time checking it!
And as always, support the bands you like! Here is the link to the bandcamp of Deliverance.
